Jeremy Brassington – Managing Director


Jeremy has been involved in helping individuals who are hard of hearing for the last 20 years. He has run Conversor since 2003. In that time he has redesigned the Conversor product range and added a number of new products, including the Conversor Pro 3RX system which is a multiple microphone system for FM radio systems. Conversor now supplies assistive listening devices to over 30 countries.

In 2013, Jeremy created Notetalker an app and desktop software program. Notetalker is an inclusive and accessible productivity tool that produces comprehensive, personalised sound and vision notes. It transforms the method of writing notes into a more efficient process, allowing more time for creativity and learning. 

Jeremy also founded Hearing Times & a publication for the deaf and hard of hearing. After graduating from the University of Oxford with a Chemistry degree, Jeremy trained as an accountant in London before working for a number of years in the City, initially at an investment bank in corporate finance and then in private equity.


Graham Coath - Business Development Manager/ Training Manager 

Graham has worked in the field of reasonable adjustments for both employees and students for the past 18 years. He joined Conversor in 2017 as Notetalker’s business development manager. Graham also delivers Notetalker training to DSA assessors and AT trainers.

Since 2015 Graham has worked in the education sector delivering regular presentations on notetaking strategy and inclusive practice to practitioners. Before that Graham has been a workplace consultant, delivering DSE and specialist training lectures to corporations across the UK, including Accenture. He has also helped to run a family business specialising in workplace assessments during which time he helped architect a software based assessment system for over 10,000 users.

Graham first studied at the University of Sunderland for a degree in Communication and Media and then went on to gain a diploma in Broadcast Journalism.


Lisa Crowe-Swords - Sales Manager (Part Time)

After working in service and finance roles for a large building manufacturer and construction company for almost a decade, Lisa joined in Conversor 2009. She is often your first point of contact at Conversor and is responsible for all sales and office administration.

Janette Aitken - Support Manager (Part Time)

Janette aitken

Janette graduated from Southampton Solent University with a Sports Studies and Business degree in 2003. At the same time she joined the Conversor team as a sales and administration assistant. Janette then jetted off for a few years to work and travel in Canada and Australia. Upon her return to the UK Janette worked in support roles across the recruitment, retail and social care sectors, before joining the team again, where she has been happily ensconced supporting the team with sales, training and events.


Helen Sutherland - Marketing Manager

Helen joined the team in 2017 after working in business development at an education and communications agency in London.

Prior to this, Helen worked in the education team at the London Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Her first role at a children and young person’s disability charity helped trigger a spark to support children and young people. She continues to work directly with young people through her voluntary role as a youth assistant at a local youth club. Helen graduated from the University of Reading with a degree in Classical Studies.

Shaan Ashraf - Technical Support

Shaan is the latest member to join the team as a technical support administrator. Before Shaan joined Conversor in 2017, he completed a BTEC in Business Studies and IT at Woking College. He is now completing his apprenticeship in Business Administration.
